Eyes closed gives it a more special meaning. I've also heard that open eyes during a kiss means your not in love and that it's not sincere either.

Most of the time, eyes closed. But every once in a while, both me and my boyfriend will open our eyes at the same time for just a brief moment and let our eyes meet. I dont think it is necessarily not sincere, i think it just means you want ALL of your senses to enjoy the experience.

I just think eyes open looks weird and makes you cross-eyed and it's just not attractive. Eyes closed, you can get into the moment, it awakens the senses in your lips and all around makes kissing that much better!
