Depends on the category, if the category is entertainment or celebrities..yes. The more specific you get, the more likely the answer is no. Stern is a radio personality, mostly, he probably wouldn't belong in a TV category.

Bear with me I'm English.... I love Jerry Springer! but even I'm getting sick of the re runs they keep showing. Haven't heard of Howard Stern, but sometimes I find Oprah interesting. Dr Phil, I dunno about him but I used to watch Donahue, Heraldo and Maury (sometimes).

Course they all belong in the same category - making money out of publicising peoples inadequacies, fears and stories etc.

Howard does not fit into that group because he does an interview show while the others essentially do talk shows that have evolved from the format made huge by Phil Donahue in the 1970's

They have common careers but they are definately not in the same category.

I think Oprah deserves more respect, she's incredible

they sure do! they seem to have the same ideas on different subjects and very good answers to the people who are on their shows. some people get on those show just for the money and the trip just to be on their tv/radio shows.
