Hi Chekhoff and I,

Maybe its just me, but I haven't seen anybody try to fly like a bird! If they did, I suppose it would look pretty stupid anyway..hopping and jumping up and down in their living room...*sighs*

Now, to answer your question..I can't tell you that humans cannot fly..Because unless every human being in the world has been tested, that's just a sensible prediction!

Philosophically, what is there to stop somebody flying? Every time I see my friends or family smile..I feel like I'm flying..Flying to me is just a term used to express your happiness about something..

People say something is impossible, but how do you know - unless you have tried everything? How do you know that you have tried everything? You don't! Therefore impossible is only likely, not impossible!

I admire this question, as its given me something to think about..On a non-philosophical basis though...I think we could potentially with the right people, create something that enables us to fly...even if that's not very high!

Thank You..
& All the best!

The reason human do not fly like birds is that humans wear clothes. You might think that this is funny answer, but I assure you it is not, there is a deeper truth about human nature hidden in what I have just told you. It is shame to be honest. In the earliest stage of natural evolution human started covering themselves with primitive cloths made of leafs, tree barks and grasses, and then later on with animal hides, whereas birds depended upon the nature to cover them up with a very different type of skin cells, that later of developed into scales, like the ones we see on chicken feet, these scales then turned into feather and wings, feathers and wings that thus we do not have.

The distinction between general nature and human nature, that contrives and manipulate its environment, is very clear; general nature by contrast is completely compliant to the laws of natural where human nature tends to deviate.

We by our very nature seek comfort and convenience, and therefore could not stand millions of years of harsh and clod climates to leave our skins as it initially might have been. So we developed a skin type that requires to be covered. You can imagine how strong birds had to be to earn this exclusive ability and wonderful equipments to go with it to fly.

Human beings cannot fly like birds as they have already crossed this part of manifestation long back. Before manifesting (reaching) the stage of human form... every soul atman has already crossed through a maze of 7.3 million manifestations in the form of insect life, plant life and animal life. Every conceivable form of insect, plant and animal life has already been manifested by our soul atman within.

We need to understand that the human form is the last leg... the highest manifest stage in the cosmic life cycle! In the human form we have 1.1 million manifestations out of the total of 8.4 million manifestations in the life of a soul atman. Only as human beings can the soul atman within liberate itself from the cycle of birth and death forever.

The goal of every life being gaining enlightenment (kaivalya jnana) and finally salvation (moksha)... it is only as a human being one reaches the stage of enlightenment and salvation. The moment a human being reaches the 8.4 million manifestation... it regains its pristine original pure form! Thereafter it is a direct journey to the kingdom of God (aka Baikuntha in Hinduism)... a point of no return!

Does it mean after gaining enlightenment and salvation the atman soul within a human being finally flies free to the kingdom of God... yes, the truth is so! I realized God in 1993... Since then my soul atman having become free forever, I can fly to any part of the Cosmos as and when I desire (not in bodily form but as pure pristine pure energy known as soul atman).
