I ask this question because of her latest rant about John Edwards, a democratic candidate for President. It seems, everytime I hear anything about this woman, it's always some mindless rant. So, she's now decided to pick on John Edwards, as she has in the past, by using his dead son and sick wife against him. But, I struggle to find an actual legitemate arguement from the woman. Does she have one, or is she simply a female version of an over-inflated, ego-maniacal, pill popping Rush Limbaugh?

And, is it appropriate to discuss personal matters NOT pertaining to real issues in this country?

And, should Ann Coulter be made to appologize for her latest attack against John Edwards and his family?

Mr. Richard P, I usually choose to disagree with people in private, but seeing as how you are too afriad to recieve email I'll just have to publically. For your information, when asking a question, the questions "more information" body does not have the spell check feature.

And secondly, if all you have to add is the fact that I may have misspelled a word or too, you make my point for me. Ohhh, you sure told me. All you've got are insults. How far does that get you?

First, are you SURE she's even a woman; she really looks like a tranny to me (no offense to transsexuals out there). Although I don't think they can make her apologize to Mr. Edwards and his family (we do have freedom of speech after all), if she has a shred of decency in her, she would apologize to them immediately. That's doubtful though.

I actually think she's worse than Limbaugh, because she's even less informed about issues (I also was surprised to find that was possible to be less informed than Rush). She just goes off on these hateful rants that really have no substance to them in an attempt to mask the fact that she is ignorant about real issues affecting our country and current events. It's certainly not appropriate to discuss personal matters that don't pertain to real issues (unless you are a tabloid), but I don't think that she has the intelligence required to carry on a civilized conversation, so she uses her hateful remarks in an attempt to mask the fact she's just plain dumb.

In Al Franken's book, Lies and the Lying Liars Who Tell Them, he does an exhaustive search fact-checking one of her books. It turns out that she just creates things in her mind. It was really disturbing to see the actual facts about an issue contrasted with how she presents an issue. Her form of speech is irresponsible to say the least.

Coulter does in fact serve a purpose, if you care to pay attention. She's a warning. It's a clear sign that we have become too oversaturated with instant media, too simplistic in our thoughts and reactions to complex issues, and too damn greedy when a woman can make a bloody fortune and be better known than any doctor in the USA from selling nothing but hate.

You know, Ann Coulter behaves and dresses like that of a harlot. It's quite obvious she's just trying to draw attention to herself in an unflattering way as she believes that she is some goddess or rather satanist.

I find her conduct to be outrageous and who cares if she does not apologize; I feel very soon she will be the brundt of a lawsuit against her for distress and slander. She is just blond white trash and the white people who are as blasphemous and evil as she is certainly love the chaos and destructive behavior exhibited by her.

She's an atrosity and an embarrassment to all women in general but esp. to white women. She thinks her rudeness and down right ungodly conduct will render her "BUCKS" from her blasphemous ramblings in her dispicable books.

I feel that one day soon she will be stricken down by some satanist unbeknownst to the satanist, but if not, someone else in the name of god will strike her down. She's nothing but a political, money driven whore and she won't apologize.

I saw the way she treated Mr. Edwards' wife, but then again I do not support politics, but Coulter is a sewage bag for hate and destruction and soon she will be struck down. She is going to cross the line with someone only too soon and that one will strike her down for her contemptuous, outrageousness.

Ann Coulter is offensive, gets a rise out of bating people, and should NOT be given media coverage. I hadn't thought of her as a female Rush, but you're absolutely right. And I can't say I'm a John Edwards fan, but her comments were completely inappropriate and malicious. If I were Elizabeth Edwards, I wouldn't let them fly either. I'm glad she is standing up for what is important to her. I don't think a forced apology would accomplish anything. People just need to start ignoring her (I say as I write this little diatribe) :O)

1. She has nothing to contribute to society. Her venom has helped cause a serious division between US citizens; while she is laughing her way to the bank.
2. She is not the female version of Rush, but the male version. Check out those man hands and Adam's apple.
3. She uses personal attacks because she is too incompetent to debate issues. She is a bater and a hater; not a debater.
4. She owes the Edwards family a big apology, as well as America, for acting like such a c...!

I can only hope she isn't JUST selling books and looking for attention. Hopefully her heart is in the right place, even if her beliefs are unconventional. This is America. Even the strangest of us have the right to express our beliefs.

I know what you're thinking. It would be nice to see a more humble, reasonable-sounding person come along, without all the bells and whistles. It won't happen, though. If you aren't a very dynamic speaker, nobody listens to you!

Good God people, she is just voicing her opinions about what's happening in politics. Why is it that whenever someone disagrees with your views, you start childish name-calling and every other idiot thing you can do. And this is not directed at the questioner, I acutally liked how you asked the question because you never started in on the "name-calling" even though I do disagree with you. lol. Yes, she does do things other than rants, though I doubt that people who dissagree with her will hear it as anything but ranting.

Again, thank you for a mature question. As to the making her apologize, I don't think so....but who knows? I have not listened to that particular conversation, so I can't really comment.

She sucks and she is the female version of Rush Limbaugh. Nothing she says is valid. She actually wrote some crazy stuff about thinking women shouldn't be allowed to vote! What an idiot. She's a woman and women hating women make me mad. Again, she sucks, I can't stress that enough!

I don't think you have ever listened to Rush or Anne. You obviously have no idea what they discuss. And no they shouldn't be made to apologize for their opinions anymore than those of Micheal Moore, Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Byrd, Hillary Clinton, or any of the numerous democrats who have made outrageous comments in the public forum. Do you get your news from any other source outside of Air "Going bankrupt" America or the mainstream media? You need to get out more and really pay attention to the voting records of the people you support. You need to look up speaches by Hillary Clinton, Al Gore, John Kerry, Byrd, Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Micheal Moore, and all the rest of your liberal friends.

Please get off your high horse and look at everyone in the political areana before you start demanding apologies from a commentator. Do you pay attention to Air America? Do you read a paper? Do you notice any of the numerous political cartoons that have come out about Condi Rice, President Bush, Vice President Cheney, and so on.

You are about as blind as a bat.

And I suppose "over-inflated, ego-maniacal, pill popping Rush Limbaugh" isn't a personal attack. I guess that's a criticism of substance???????

It amazes me how pios democrats are. What hypocrits!! Please look up Edwards voting records, his speaches, and his business dealings as a "slip and fall" lawyer. Do you even know what his political views are?

We all have something to contribute to society. No she's not the female version of Rush, that would be Rosie. (from what I hear on here anyway)

I find it funny that so many of the left are obsessed with Ann...she makes a couple of good points here and there and most of us pay her no more mind than that. The left however seems to hang on EVERY word she says...I find this disturbing...
