I'm sick to the back teeth of the ignorant people who surmise anyone on yahoo is American and assume their news and headlines makes it over here..... Should they accept that we're from different countries - GMT means we can be hours apart and that some of the questions we might ask might not be so 'stupid' considering where we are from.

LOL - I don't know how we got here either, but we are - so lets all be more accepting of one another.

i'm American, and am very aware of (and welcome) your presence. one SHOULD, indeed, be considerate of the different cultures as well as the variations of AGE on here.
i've not called anyone's questions stupid for a year.
the only tthing that bothers me slightly that's even relevant is folks from India expecting many of us to know who Aminitra Bashparagoolamognavat is.

My only complaint about yahoo is the teens who just saturate the system with the same question...Do you think he/she likes me? Arggghhhhh. And how cool is it that we may be giving advice to someone who lives an entire continent and ocean away. Relax and enjoy the experience for what it is...a fun way to share all that life experience knowledge stored up inside you. I'm from west coast Canada!

i for one take the time difference into account when americans ask what are you doing up so late etc, and as far as the newws is concerned, i like hearing whats going on in the world, better than the drones from the bbc, they too have been very responsive and enquisitive, i think you may just have been unfortunate with your experiences

They probably think the same of us.
Besides i like the Americans, i chat with alot of them and they are more understanding about alot of stuff compared to the British.
