Everday it's something new with this administration. They do feel they are above the law becasue they can justify everything they do, whether it's going to war or taking prisoners or hiding documents that show the things they have done. We should have the right to know what is going in the White house plain and simple. And because they are so quick to try and dismiss and hide things only shows guilt.
It has to be hard Mr. President to look the american people in the face everyday and lie!

Of course he is. It would be THE most stupid mistake for a president to give documents out to be seen by everyone. I'm sure you have things that the public shouldn't see. Multiply that by about 1000 times. Most of the things Bush or any president has is national security and shouldn't be seen by everyone. Do you think ANY democrat president would willfully give up those documents? They wouldn't so keep your liberal spins to yourself.

What need does Congress have for these documents? The Attorney Generals serve at the pleasure of the President they do not serve at the pleasure of Congress. If I fire an employee it is my responsibility to never disclose the conversations I had with that employee or I would open myself up to a Civil Suit for Libel and Defamation of Character. If someone inquires whether or not an employee worked for me I can simply say yes or no. I can not say what events surrounded his termination. If the employee sues me for wrongful termination then I can disclose what prompted his/her dismissal.

OH MY GOD, ANOTHER GOVERNMENT SCANDAL! JUST NOT POSSIBLE! lol......Our government is a TRAVESTY run by IDIOTS that couldn't tell the truth if their life depended on it! When have you seen an honest person in politics? I want to see one Presidential Candidate that tells the TRUTH in front of the camera about what he's going to do with our country and I'll vote for them just because he was honest enough to say he going to raise taxes. It's going to be raised anyway, might as well vote for the guy who told it would happen instead of the guy that said he wouldn't and did it the 1st Day in office! SET THIS COUNTRY STRAIGHT IN 2008!

Absolutely. This is still OUR government. If there's anything of a national security nature, there are closed-door ways to deal with it while still ensuring accountability to We, The People.

Personnel matters in Justice are NOT national security matters.

It's a shuck-n-jive - meant to throw liberals into a tizzy! They will come out looking for blood, and there will be none. Make of it WHATEVER you want. You will be wasting tax money! Libs have a lot of nerve to castigate the guy who took on Clinton's impeachment.

Asserting Executive privilege is upholding the law, specifically the US Constitution. Congress oversteps its bounds when it tries to run the government. That is the job of the executive branch.
