I'm Scottish (both Scottish and English are British) and I love Italians, but then I have some Italian family and go to Italy a lot.
English tourists have a reputation for behaving badly abroad, but it's a minority who actually behave badly of course, insulting foreigners.
You should be fine!

Wrong I'm Italian, born in London and i have always been respected by the English. plus the fact the English love their Food/ Italian fashion/ & fabulous handbags! not to mention their cars!! is that a good enough reason to like the Italians?

wot a load of rubbish hey girl me mom is Italian and i am loved by the " English" born there never a problem 4 me. i find that the English (And i dont wanna say hate!!! cause thats a strong word 2 use but dislike the Irish, and Muslims yep that happens often in UK

I have no reason to believe so, I am British and I dont think I have ever heard anyone I know ever speak out against the Italians as a race, a culture, a society or a nation....

I'm English and I don't hate Italian people. I've never heard of there being any hostility towards Italians.

How could we possibly hate Italians? They gave us the world's best clothing, the world's best food, the world's best cars (Alfa Romeo!),the world's most beautiful women, and the world's best language!
Don't worry about a thing, I don't know a single English person who doesn't love Italy.

I don't hate Italians, I think Italian women are very hot esp Cristina Scabbia from Lacuna Coil I'm drooling now I better stop typing :)
