Lol ... the american government used the term 'Manifest Destiny' to account for them stealing indian lands. The indians were woefully unprepared to deal with the issue. Somehow, I don't think an immigration policy would have helped their cause one bit when dealing with the double-crossing american government.

I've always thought that If they were Bow & Arrowed and soon as they landed....guerilla style......nooo body would have followed them......Since the earth was thought of to be flat....they would have be written off to another foolish explorers dream.
