I keep hearing how they are doing a great job (in my opinion) with their decisions?

Since everyone seems to not like the other 2 branches, what do you think of the SCOTUS?

I give everyone a thumbs-up. Unless your answer is completely off topic.

hich, I hate to tell you this, but if Stevens (I'm guessing he is) is the rest of your representation, he will probably be gone too very soon.

I've give them a 65. They have been lacking consistency of late, and their eminent domain decision in Kelo v. City of New London was a travesty. However, since O'Connor retired, they have thankfully become less activist.

I don't have much of an opinion of them, now that half of my representation has gone...(Sandra Day O' Connor)
No, the other half is Ruth Bader Ginsburg..the only other woman. I would like to say that it doesn't matter what a person's gender is, but the fact is, it does...if issues that arise that only pertain to women...like the wage gap or reproductive health...including but not limited to abortion. At least the senate (headed up by Hilary) demanded that a ruling be made on Plan B (emergency contraception) and the HPV vaccine before approving ANY of Bush's prospects. They (the SCOTUS) were trying to stall until Sandra Day O'Connor stepped down...for obvious (to me) reasons...

I'm sorry that I'm not able to scan through all of the case law that they have handed down this term in order to calculate how many times I would give them a thumbs up or a thumbs down for their rulings this last year. I can only say that in general, I'd tend to give them a very low score.

i'd give them about an 85 out of 100. mostly everything they've done makes sense unlike the rest of the system right now.

I'm o.k. with the SC. Since we have a democratic Congress and will most likely have a democratic President, I'm very comfortable with having a conservative court. I'm a liberal who believes in "checks and balances."

At best, they rate a 4, with 10 being perfect.

I don't think they are doing a great job, considering they have side-stepped many important issues - especially when it comes to the President.
