Talked my sister-in-law into buying her grave & headstone & doing a pre-need arrangement at the funeral home. She has no immediate family ( husband or children ) so I thought she should get it all done herself. Of course she didn't like the thought of doing it, and she even shedded tears, but death is a part of life. I would not ask or tell her to do something that I wouldn't do myself, so of course my arrangements have been made for quite a while. I would not want my husband or children to have to deal with all that after my death. Just trying my best to make my loss as easy as possible on them. If that is at all possible.!!!

I talked my boyfriend into living a healthy lifestyle. Although he is at a very healthy weight, I thought that he could incorporate more fruits and veggies. I am still working on the fruits but the veggies are definately a winner. Now he eats less fried foods, less butter, more vegetable soups, less red meat and drinks fruit juices.

Did I mention he gave up all cafeinated drinks...coffee, sodas etc? Now he drinks hot tea (black or red) twice a day. He jogs twice a week.

I feel so proud of what he's become and his doctors are very happy too. That makes for a happy relationship! My job here is done!

There are two that stick out readily in my mind:

1. My friend and I go into a creek a lot. It's fun to skip from rock to rock, trying your best not to fall in and get wet (we actually climbed over a beaver dam one time, never ever ever again!!!). Anyway, we talked my other friend into going in the creek with us. She brought a chalk white purse, in which she carried her brand new cell phone (a hot pink razr). Well there's a part of the creek that we have to walk through, because it's really wide and really shallow, but you have to be careful because the bottom is covered in moss which is easy to slip on. I have never once fallen down on that moss (it's not far in at all and I don't start slipping until i have to stand sideways on rocks that are at odd angles). She slipped, threw her purse, and destroyed her phone the very first time we went in there. She hasn't come with us to the creek since! Her mom was pissed!!!

2. At WoF, there is a roller coaster there that your feet hang off of. It has corkscrews and loops and twists and turns and it's really fun. It's not scary at all, but a lot of people don't want to ride it. I was there with three of my friends and one among our number was terrified of speed, loops, and spins (wtf we're at an amusement park that rules out all the rides ):<. but we made this huuuuge scene to get her to ride it, people were staring because I was on the ground, rolling around and screaming like a soap opera actress. We got her on it. She loooved it, but she lied and told us she didn't..... loooser

I just talked my 4 year old daughter into cleaning her room, it took 15 minutes, but she's in there now singing while cleaning her room. I think I deserve a pat on the back now thank you.

Getting my friend, which was 2 years younger than me and therefore 16 at the time, to sneak out of her parents house. She really didn't want to do it.
