Didn't Cornwallis say that at Yorktown?
I think his last words, before he directed a subordinate to go out and surrender for him, were, "Hey...can't those Yanks take a joke?"

Hi Sid, glad to see you're back. It must be a tad difficult using appalling spelling and grammar when you know better. Sometimes you go a little over the top- even your regular Hillbilly wouldn't do that badly- the upper case "e" for Englishman was a mistake. You gave too much away there. But how I enjoy seeing these morons on both sides of the Pond become so irate! As we both know, the Americans are not so gullible but nicely naive at times, perhaps.

Because we can spell English better than an Englishman? (jk)
You probably feel this way because most of the Americans you've happened to meet are gullible.
I'm sure there are gullible Englishmen out there too, just as there are friendly Americans (who CAN, by the way, take jokes..)

Well Sydney, for an American trying to write with an English accent, you are doing a really bad job. So why not try again.
How do I know you're a yank pretending to be English? Easy, we have some idiots over here as well, but nothing like you kid!!!

How long were you here? Remember, Americans consists of many different nationalities. You cannot base your assumptions on just the reactions of a few Americans.
Many Americans do take jokes...I am one of them!
However, I don't think you are English...you don't spell good enough.
