the rest of the buttons and commands on keyboard are simply ignored. its very annoying when i try to play a game in two or more. thanks in advance

Maybe the keyboard buffer can't handle it. Or the other keys don't go with the ctrl and alt keys that you are pressing.
I just presssed:
13420 and 01234 and no problem with 5 keys.
Well I just pressed 4890321 and it worked too. So I don't know what you are talking about. 17890234 I just did it again. I don't know ~ maybe it's the capacity of the game you are playing !!! Or it doesn't recognize the keys you are depressing.

That is as much as the keyboard's buffer can handle. Anything pushed after that is not registered. I have a ZBoard and it can support up to 7 keys at once, that's the most I have seen.

I believe you are referring to "sticky keys" feature of MS. It is only there to make you aware that multiple keys on your keypad are being pressed. I think you can disable the feature, but not sure.
