The most common laptops are fan cooled, Toshiba and a couple of other manufacturers have announced they are working on liquid cooled laptops, but I haven't seen any available for production yet. Dell, Alienware, and a few smaller computer builders offer liquid cooled desktop pcs, but the prices can be staggering. For ultimate perfomance in either desktop or laptop computers, liquid cooling would offer then best cooling especially when dealing with the heat generated from overclocking.

Well, if you are looking for portability, fan-cooled is the best option. I personally have never seen a liquid-cooled laptop. It would be quite cumbersome in a laptop.
