liz, too bad you had such a big mouth, i would have much rather watched the two of you fight, especially if she had ripped your shirt off while on top of you. i admire the guts it took for you to admit that. you deserve a medal.

One tme, in 8th grade, my best friend that hadn't exactly "come out of the closet" yet, wanted to fight me for God knows what and when she confronted me in the hallway at school, about 200 people gathered around us yelling "fight!fight!". I said back to the crowd, "I'm not gonna fight a lesbain! She might try to make a move on me!". Everyone laughed, and it made me feel pretty good about dodging that bullet (Eddie was a really big girl.). I also called her trailer trash and a couple other "choice" words. I insulted all of the trust that she put into me when she told me she was lesbain, so i really insulted our entire friendship.

I've felt the most inspired along those lines when I was driving in traffic, but now I've given that up. I ride a bike. (though I still get into life-threatening situations with stupid motorists and I end up getting more angry than I want to - its all that damn adrenaline)
I can't repeat those words here because I'm not angry and I don't want to be.

As a joke, I asked a friend, "Do you know what I like about you?" His face lit up and he said, "what?" And then I said, "Not a damn thing". He didn't take it as a joke, and we didn't talk to each other for quite some time until he finally accepted my apology.

Haven't. Not ashamed of any partner, date, or other. Some people have standards.
