Just run to the store and buy some ant traps. They are surprisingly effective. If you have dogs or cats just be sure to keep them away from the traps. Good luck.

Likely they will be coming in at one main location from the outside- Find that spot and put ant powder on it.
For inside the house, put cucumber peels where the ants are mainly located. Did you know there is poison in cucumber peel? The ants will eat it because the sweetness of the white cucumber meat will still be on it slightly. But the poison in the green part kills them.

ant traps work really well and for the ants that can read, leave a can of RAID in full view :-)

Sprinkle rubbed sage from the spice dept. in the area where the ants are, they hate it and will leave.
