Go to www.whatismyip.com and it will tell you the real IP address you appear as on the Internet.
If you are behind a firewall or NAT then the IP address of your computer may be different.
On Windows use the command "ipconfig" to see it.
On Mac and Unix use "ifconfig"
These are run from command prompt or terminal.

Click Start then Run and type cmd and then click OK. Type ipconfig and hit Enter. You will see your IP address listed there.

Open the "Command Prompt" and type "ipconfig" without the quotes. If you have a network, then the command is "ipconfig /all This will give you the IP's of all your network hardware.
