Should they be publically listed as sex offenders no matter the degree of the defense?

No, they do not deserve privacy. They forfeited that right when they committed their crime. The children (and adults for that matter) in the area deserve to be safe and protected.

oh no! They should have privacy. They should be put in a tiny little room, and left there, so they are not bothered. Seal the door up, nail down any windows, paint them from the outside. So they have all the privacy they want. That does, unfortunately, preclude the idea of them having food or water, but sometimes you have to give up certain things to get your privacy. And I really believe they should have the privacy they keep saying they need.
Another option is to remove the offending organ of the pervert, and remove most of the fingers and toes. Governent approved of course. This way...they are not only basically safer to be around, they will be fun to watch as they try to deal with life after they made it hard for little kids to deal with their lives.

Yes, they should be publically listed--and as it is with all felons it is and should be public record anyway. I also believe that the child offender should be made a spectacle of and that they are scrutinized for the rest of their lives---why??? Because the child they violated will have to live with those memories for the rest of their lives---and they didn't ask for the trauma, they didn't ask to be violated and they didn't deserve to have their innocence taken from some psycho!!!

As a victim of sexual abuse for years by my uncle who also happened to be a police officer i can tell you I do not believe they have a right to privacy ,He took away something far more valuable in my life he took my innocence and my trust in people and left me only fear.

No. I think all violent criminals should lose their right to privacy and should be publicly identified.
