not a whole lotta info. perhaps make sure you have the desired printer selected when the print window comes up. are you getting an error? is the document remaining in the queue?

The test page is in the printer's buffer. It should print out without the computer attached. You need to make sure the print page is getting to the printer's buffer. The buffer is needed because the printer is slower than the computer and it needs somewhere to store the information.

A common problem is filling up the buffer, but being unaware that it is full, and often the system just gives up the ghost., leaving the operator bewildered as to what is happening. Make sure the buffer is clear and that you are familiar with the queueing system on your computer.

With any attachment make sure you are using the correct drivers, so that the printer and computer are talking to each other with let's say 'comprehension'

Hi,

How did you print the test-page?
Did you print it from the "Print Test Page" TAB within the printers properties, or did you start the printing of a test page directly from the printer.
When you print your word-document, is the right paper form selected? Did you get any error messages?

How about printing from a DOS-box?
How about printing from Note-pad?
If the about two work you have a problem with your printer-spooler. Try if a re-boot will fix it..

By saying nothing comes out, you mean..nothing gets printed on the page, but the paper is feed trough the printer?

I have an Epson and a Lexmark, and what I do to get Word to print is click Print from File Menu, click Properties, and under Quality Options, you can choose Text, Text & Image, Photo, or Best Photo. Text & Image works well enough for me, but sometimes I have to choose the higher qualities. Don't know why, but I've got some glitch with my Word printing, too. Hope this helps you out. I've also reinstalled my printer, too, a couple of times.

This could be a problem with MS software. If you can print from other programs, try reinstalling Word. You only said test page would print.
