I'm generally not but we had the most intense thunderstorm last night - torential downpowers, high wind, heavy duty thunder & lightning. Sheesh - it seriously looked like a hurricane.

I should mention that I had to run to my car 4 blocks away during this insanity. If I'm inside I like them.

I've spent most of my life in the southwest and midwest (OK, TX, KS, NE & MO) and have lived thru thunderstorms and looked up into the eye of a tornado. But the scariest was when I was watching TV and lightning came up thru the ground, knocked out the TV (which was at the foot of the bed I was lying in) and went out the window. Don't care how tough you think you are - that one'll make you wet your pants.

Not at all. I actually love thunderstorms & sitting out on the deck watching the skies for lightening & listening to the thunder roar!!!

I'm not afraid of thunderstorms. I think they are amazingly beautiful in their own way. I love the sound of rain. It's very peaceful to me. I lived through Katrina. I cannot be afraid of a little storm.

i love thunderstorms especially when im going to bed the sound of rain. I love to watch them but when the lightning gets close its kinda freaky

I love thunderstorms. Not the nasty severe ones. Just the calmer ones. Especially at night when I am going to sleep! :-)

Do you live in Maine? Parts of Maine close to us did too last night, but we didnt get hit.
They are really cool but i hate the power going out because i basiclly live here.

We had the same thing last night ! We even lost power !
This morning there was scattered tree branches and
leaves all over the place !

it happened in new york right??? i was so scared!!!!!!! there was a huge flood in front of my house....i couldnt leave my house so my dad had to park our car two blocks away! my bro's basketball hoop fell so hard and our garden is ruined. !! I thought it was seriously the end of the world because i never expected this in new york!
