If you take 30 years for a generation and take it back for 1000 years then at that time you had more living anscestors than there were people alive worldwide.It is just like putting a great many anscestors into a funnel and out comes us.

According to the Bible (which I believe) the first two people were Adam and Eve. So every person who was ever alive, came from Adam and his descendants. So really, everyone is related.

Then it gets more complicated. The different races were separated at the Tower of Babel. (from the Bible, once again.)

It's kinda hard to explain.

The further you go back, the more those separate branches in your family tree lead back to the same people.
