Most politicians (and more liberals than conservatives) are content with passing laws that only appear to solve a problem -but really don't (the "feel-good, do-nothing" laws).
Also, they favor actions that are impossible to measure accurately - that way, they can't be proven wrong, and it's a hell of a lot easier to spin to fit your agenda.
Many of the firearms laws were touted as causing reductions in crime; however, this can't be proven. Various reports issued by the CDC, DOJ and FBI (and other agencies) all have disproven the liberals' claims.
If you ask 100 scientists/climatologists about global warming and the causes, you'll probably get 50 different answers - and that'll be based on who's funding the study.
Passing laws to reduce global warming is just that - passing laws - there is no way that anyone can make a valid claim that their laws reduced global warming - they're sure as hell not going to be around to demonstrate it.....
To all of those in favor of laws reducing global warming - let's see the proof that man is causing it - IF it does exist. I'm certain that normal climatic changes over thousands of years are the prime cause.
BTW - weren't we threatened 30-40 years ago that we were going into another ice age? What happened? Did the liberals forget? Or is the climate changing that fast??? Maybe it's just a change in the direction of the political winds.....

Regardless if the planet is warming from pollution or not we should clean it up. We only have one planet and dumping on it at the rate we are as humans makes us as a race look ignorant and uneducated.
We could easily have alternative energy if the big oil industry did not have the politicians in there pocket.
There is a man who has found something that we can run engines on and its saltwater!!! Yes saltwater but will any of the so called intelligent educated people do any thing with this? I am sad but sure nothing much will become of it for some time if ever.
People will always find a reason it will not work even if they have to make one up that sounds good just so they can make a buck.

Seems that all scientist even conservative ones are now on the side of Global Warming being a fact. Do you have any hard evidence that it is not true. If so please share it with Conservatives like John McCain who said "The debate is over now is the time to do something"

Liberals stick together even when they are proven wrong.......kinda funny isn't it? Global warming is a huge ploy to raise our tax money.........think about it. There is no global warming.
