you can but it wont work since what would happen is that the server of your isp is authenticating two modem ( or two accounts ) and what the server will do is not to allow you to connect on either modem so it wouldnt be possible ^_^

The answer is "NO". Two DSL modems will be unable to "SYNC" on the same line. DSL modems use a "bridging" technique which begins at the telephone company with their end being the "master" connection and yours the "slave". This is done through IP and MAC addressing. If your intention is to hook up more than 1 computer on the network, you can use a network "hub" or switch as they call it to expand your existing connections. You CAN however have different IP addresses assigned to the individual computers you are using (must request more than one IP address through the phone company) but this process must be set up manually on each computer and is a more lengthy process and requires a little more technical knowledge of network settings.

No but I'd like to know why you want to do that? There is definitely a way to put you back on track cause I don't see the point of having two modems on the same connection.

You Can, But it's almost totally illegal. They made one that had about 5 Modems in one, and would get up to about 1 Mile Signals, but the goverment found the creator made it for spying on his neighbors... lol

Are you trying to set up a home network? Or are you thinking two modems will speed up the signal?
Use a router.
They cost anywhere from $15.00-$60.00.

No.
Unless you mean connecting 2 dsl lines to one local network, then yes, but it takes pro grade sysco equipment, so no.
