Ok, so I'm closing on my first home today. It has propane for the heating and for the stove. Can someone, who has experience tell me the pros and cons of having propane? I've heard that it's cheaper than having all electric but then a couple of people said that it's way expensive.

The initial cost of filling the tank can be high, but it is cheaper than electric. You will also have heat should the power go out (stove only, as the fan on the furnace will not operate) There have been fluctuations in Propane prices since it is a petroleum product.
