A girl I know had a boyfriend in high school for about 5 years. They split. At age 18, she had a 2-year affair with a 30-something married man. They split. At age 20, she had a 3-year affair with a 55-year old married man. About 2 years into that relationship, she met through work a 53-year divorced man with money. At age 23, she split with the 55-year old and very quickly became engaged to the divorced guy. About two months after she got engaged, she started calling the high school boyfriend (on occasion) and the 55-year guy (much more frequently) and told them she still missed them, thought about them, and loved them. The guy she was engaged to has been clueless about these calls. These calls went on for about 6 months. She just got married last week and is on her honeymoon in Europe. Who knows if she’ll keep calling these guys when she gets back. What do others think about what is driving her behavior and do you think the marriage will last?

She's a gold digger. It will not last and she will not change.

This behavior is driven by a need for money and attention. The highschool sweetheart was her first love and he will always be in her heart, because I sure it is him she thinks of while she is with these older men. The older men are able to give her the luxuries most of us desire. she will become a rich widow one day and be the envy of most of us. People like this often keep a back up plan in the learch.

Self-esteem issues and she's a gold digger! She marries the guy with money for security but still tell the other guys that she misses them because she needs to know that they miss her also to make herself feel better.

Marriage for $$ may last but its never a happy one.

Someone I know once said about these types of relationships.
At first she's all about how fun, then some 10,15, 20 years into it, you're old and she's still young and she's just waiting for your sorry @ss to die.

Seems she has no clue what she wants, and seems she is settling for anything, and this marriage probably wont last in my opinion, but her guy hopping may go back to her childhood and her relationship with her father....
