Wow! I hope yours is REAL and not a copy. I own a copy of one myself. If it is real, anywhere from $1500 in good shape, up to $25,000 in really good shape. Good Luck. BTW, get a few appraisals and not just one.

Your chances of having a real one is slim to none. You are asking about a coin that has a value of $7,000 and up, mostly up to the $35,000 level, or more depending on grade and variety. There have been no new ones discovered for a lot of years. There is a type out there that has a high relief and is made of pewter or lead. It is worth a dollar or so. There are also copies out there made by a man named Bashlow in the 1960's, they were made from dies made from the original 1870's copy dies. they come in silver, copper, goldine and pewter. They have low relief like the originals. I have seen these for sale at $100 and up to $250. I have a couple of the Bashlow copies. The coin really needs to be seen buy a couple of coin dealers, if they agree that it may be genuine, they will assist you into sending it to be authenticated. I would need scans or photo's myself to go any further here.
