I know a young girl who has a tattoo on his back, above the hips. It’s like butterfly with extended wings.
I am curious to know if this kind of tattoo means something special in society; for example does it belong to any group or cult or school?

Please let me know what you would think about that?

You can get tattoos on any part of your body and it does not mean anything specific. Some groups have developed an offensive term of 'tramp stamp' for this placing of a tattoo on the lower back, but it's just a backlash against it's popularity and does not have any genuine meaning or implications.
