Actually, no.
I try to be more truthful than that. For me, its about showing the other person some respect. Even if I don't get that respect in return, I know I have taken the high road.

I did in an attempt to break up with my girlfriend. She's my wife now, so needless to say, I didn't go through with it. We've been married for 6 years now and couldn't be happier!!:)
