the kind that says to put in it under the hood. Mine's located on the oil cover. or just go have someone skilled change it for you-and ask them what kind when they finish

If u are referring to weight rating, check the owner's manual. It will tell you 5w20, 10w30 or whatever and API classification, prob. SM.
As for brand it doesn't really matter as long as you change it regularly.

i use synthetic oil.i have a crown victoria and i have 300,00 on it.the synthetic is more expensive,but it doesn't let the engine wear.... casterol syntec is what i use,and even in my riding lawn mower,and i have had it for over 20 years,and it starts,and goes... and doesn't use any oil....
