I started my own business and took clients with me does that count as stealing?

I worked in convience stores for over 10 years, and it was hard at times, but I never stole anything. There may have been a few times when I had to run a charge account until payday, and a time or two that I forgot to pay for something until the next day, but I've always looked at it as if they were nice enough to give me a job, the least I can do is not steal from them. My husband worked for the State for 12 years and he had a problem of "bringing things home" for a while until I finally put my foot down. Word of advice:the State's toilet paper and trash bags suck.

Not at all. The places I worked there was nothing worth stealing and losing my integrity over it.

No, never. What is the point? All stealing is going to do is get you fired, possibly arrested (depending on what you stole), ruin your reputation, cause complete distrust among your co-workers.....and frankly how can you feel good about yourself knowing you are so selfish to take something that simply doesnt belong to you.

often i wore my hair up at my last job, and to save loosing pens i would stick em in my hair, every damn night i would go home with several sticking out all over the place, the boss watched me do it, she thought it was hilarious i rode the bus with 3 or 4 pens sticking out my head, even better when it was a fancy fluffy pen or a pencil with a big pink eraser on the end

I am actually embarassed about this but I once took a small garbage can. That was 40 years ago and I still have it. At the time I thought the company owed me.

yeah, multiple times at multiple work places. my first job was at 6 flags at an eat in resterant. i stole the food and ate it in the bathroom. everyone did it because the managers are slave drivers and did not alow it. at my third job, i stole jewlery, hair products, clothes and things like that. i even got a steering wheel cover. i worked at wal mart. but i had to quit because i got pregnant. it does not happen forever. and now i have major guilt. if i could i would give it all back. i did give some of it away though.
