False..I have no "party"..Unlike Sooooo many who seem perfectly comfortable with being led around by the "party nose ring", I base my vote on information and probability of performance

False. I will be very angry if Hillary Clinton is president. I will be horrified if most of the Republican candidates are elected, but would be merely a little unhappy about a President Giuliani or President McCain. Ron Paul would make a pretty good president.

My vote is for Bill Richardson, he's got experience, class, and intelligence. Anyone one of the top three candidates from "my" party and I'll be less than pleased.

Not for me. I vote for the individual who would seem to run the show as I would if I were President -and I don't care what party affiliation he/she has. Thus, although I'm a registered Republican, I have voted for LBJ and Ross Perot. Go figure.

The slate of candidates for the upcoming election, for the first time in a long time, includes some characters who appear to be competent, as well as some characters who are so given to their party's ideology as to be unreasonable. I won't mention names, but it is a very interesting field of choices. This time, it's going to be interesting.

I think.

I don't believe in party politics. I think parties should be abolished.

In the past elections I've voted for the following:
92: Ross Perot
96: Bill Clinton
2000: Ralph Nader
2004: John Kerry
2008:?

I'm not an American, I can't vote , but it sure does make a difference to me which political party and candidate wins as it affects and effects international relations, Bush has murdered his relationship with Canada for the most part.

False!! I look at the person, their agenda, and their values. I also look at how they view the rights given to us by our Fore Fathers. The Democrats are a dangerous liberal left! They want to take away our freedoms slowly so that we do not notice. We no longer have free enterprise in this country and this country is run by trial lawyers and the media. My vote goes to the people and our rights. Though a flawed party, my vote goes to the Republicans, at least they still have some sense left.

True---sort of.

I never thought, being a liberal leaning Independent, that I would vote for someone solely because of their party. But man, we need the Republicans out of there before they wage another war, or get the rest of the globe even more angry with us, or cut more funding for education, environment, ane medical needs.

This is the first election I have ever felt that way. :(

False. I vote issues, not party lines.

Unfortunately, given the state of things today, neither "party" can provide any real leadership or solutions.
