Argentine tango. We've been doing it since 1999.
Prior to Argentine tango, we did both ballroom dancing and East coast swing since 1973.

I Love Dancing! I've been dancing since I was a little one. I have been doing Irish Dancing for eleven years now. I did ballet for five years. A couple of years ago I picked up Jazz and Tap (I absolutely love tap, no doubt from those years of Irish hard shoes :-) ). I have also recently picked up belly dancing. I even created an International Dance Club at my school. What can I say, it's been a huge part of my life. Though not too long ago, I was injured once, and then a second time, so its been difficult to get back into the groove. It's nice to hear that there are people out there with a wide spectrum love of dance. I have a recommendation for you. Go out and look for different dance styles, when you come upon one that you think, "They actually have that kind of a dance...weird..." Go and try it! It might sound completely random, but just try it and I promise you won't regret it, you might just find out that this type of dance which you might have been mocking, might actually be fun!

I've been taking Irish step dancing classes for about 4 years now, which just stopped for the summer :-(, but I also take modern and sometimes improv on Saturday mornings. Oh yeah, and ballroom dancing on Mondays with a bunch of people from my school. I love dancing!

Thanks for asking. I starting learning Salsa about 9 months ago. Fun and a major work out.
I just recently started learning Belly Dancing as well. That is a work out as well. I have heard it said that dance is good exercise and now that I have started Salsa and Belly Dancing I must say that is a true statement. Salsa for cardio and Belly Dancing for toning.
Try it... and I just found out that they have men Belly Dancing as well. I look forward to seeing that sometime.

I take lyrical, modern, hawaiian, celtic, tap, jazz, cecchetti syllabus, ballet, pointe, adagio (where I have a partner and he throws me and we do tricks in the air) and I assist the littler kids classes.
