60s- Monterey and Woodstock....summer of love, Kennedy assassinations, death of MLK, Vietnam, the beginning of the careers of some of my favorite musicians and the Manson murders...man on the moon.
70s- The emergence of soft rock, the come and go of disco, the decade both the Wall and Dark Side Of The Moon came out, deaths of Janis, Jimi and Jim...feminism, gay rights and Watergate.
80s- Death of John Lennon, hair metal, ripped jeans and big hair, Michael Jackson and yuppies. Biggest thing I think of is the nuclear disaster at Chernobyl.

1970s - most popular era of all! nice music, the fashion, the hair...everything!
