According to wikipedia, noob saibot and reiko is the same person or something..

As you may or may not know, Noob Saibot is actually the game's creators names spelled backwards i.e. Ed Boon (NOOB) and John Tobias (SAIBOT). Noob Saibot was originally going to be a character in MK 4 but it was decided that there was too many ninja characters so Noob was renamed and made into Reiko.
It was said that Noob in MK Trilogy was to be too hard to see in some stages as he blended into the games background so he was renamed and made into Reiko !

the first time i ever seen noob saibot was in mk3 for sega genisis when the run button was first introduced, in that game when u upper cutted someone really good a guy would pop up on the bottom of the screen and say "toasty" in a high pitched voice, if u quickly hit a certain button while toasty was being said, u would fight noob saibot
