What performance parts are you interested in? Suspension, rear gears, transmission or motor are all important. Chevrolet HP engine parts are everywhere. The first place I'd attack are the cylinder heads. The latest Chevy Vortec heads are worth 20-30 conservative horsepower if you have a small block. There are two versions of these heads. Both are Chevrolet part numbers.
#1. 25534421. 185 cc intake runners and 65cc exhausts with 66 cc combustion chambers.
#2. 25534431. 215 cc intake runners and 84 cc exhausts with 66 cc combustion chambers. Either of these heads will yield 10.0 - 10.3 compression ratio using flat top pistons.
E-mail with more particulars and I'd be glad to help.
The heads come complete with 2.0 intake valves and 1.55 exhausts.
The reason these cylinder heads ar so popular is the valves are un-shrouded nicely, spark plug placement is ideal and the overall combustion chamber shape makes big numbers in the power department. There's no camshaft on earth that will give you this very broad power increase on the street.
The beauty of these cylinder heads is that you can pick a camshaft with .530 lift with no modifications to the heads.
Without knowing what transmission you have, rear gears, I 'd hesitate to recommend a cam intake or carburetor at this point.
A really great resource for all Chevrolet high performance parts is: GM 2007 Performance Parts Catalog and it's part number is 10170580. It's available at your local Chevy parts counter for a messily $5.00. A DUI (brand name) HEI ignition is a great addition also.

Best places to go online are www.opgi.com, which stands for Original Parts Group, and the other site is www.paddockparts.com. I've ordered many times from them. Excellent service.
