Yes, I have a real understanding of this. The Great Pyramid was built where it was because it could be seen from across the river and because there was a good foundation available on a slight plateau. Two more large pyramids were built on the same plateau for the same reasons.
It was also traditional to build cemeteries on the western side of the Nile. The Sun god set there, and quite possibly the Egyptians realised that burials should not be near populated places for health reasons. So they chose the desert just beyond the cultivated western edge of the river.
By the time it was built the Egyptians, who were not fools, had some hundreds of years experience in building pyramids. Some of the early ones had fallen down because of poor foundations. They wished to avoid that for the next one. The world grid does not exist.

Greetings!
Do you mean the Magnetic Grid? The Earths Magnetic Poles do form part of a Torus of Magnetic Force which surrounds and pervades the Globe.
This is true with many Planets, and is thought to be partially formed by the Liquid Iron Core rotating at a different speed than the rest of the Planet.
The Magnetic Field of Mars seems to be weaker than ours, and this lets more Cosmic, and Solar Rays bombard the surface, and hence, the Atmosphere of Mars is constanly being eroded.
Perhaps you refer to a more Mystical Field which is thought to connect places and things? There IS a Grid, but it is constantly in motion, and the Pyramids are made of Sandstone which, while containing SOME Iron, is not a major Magnetic source.
More research needs to be conducted, and EVERY Theory needs proponents. There is more to this Earth than we could ever understand-or need to.
Yours in the Light /!\
