Morality and ethics are words having similar meanings. It is difficult to differentiate. They mean discipline and responsibility towards the society, parents, friends, country, and all things created by God. The source of morality springs from agreed value systems. Of course these are constantly changing from time to time. In the absence of morality and ethics this human society would be worse than a jungle with a total free for all.

Morality is an individual standard for knowing all of the
factors which are required for evaluation and determination
of appropriate behavior. Therefore, morality is subjective
because any individual can only know what the individual
has cognized, and no one else can be absolutely
sure they know everything that another individual knows.
Ethicality is a cultural/group-based standard for knowing
all the factors which are required for evaluation and
determination of appropriate behavior. Therefore, ethicality
is ideally objective, but potentially and more likely than
not group-subjective, so ethicality is like to collective
conscious which can be reduced to commonality
of the sum of the collective's moralities.
Ethicality is more elusive than morality because of the
involvement of varying subjective cognitions. In other
words, making appropriate moral judgements is simple
and true, and making appropriate ethical judgements
is complicated and riddled with subjective inconsistencies.
It is for this reason that many people use morality and
ethicality interchangeably, and rightly so in a culture
which accepts morality as the ethical standard.

Moral is a state of mind, whereas ethics are code of behaviors. One can be of no good moral but conceal it with great ethics.
Morality is the conscious that distinguishes what is right and wrong, acceptable in the society and not.

Morality is character. It isn't just behavior, it is a state of being because the moral person is not driven by current circumstances. It is doing the right thing for the right reason. Morality isn't motivated by fear of punishment nor motivated by desire for a reward.
Ethics is behavior and doesn't care about motives.
The foundation of moral character is a belief in the supernatural. It depends upon the idea that the universe "stands behind"/approves/applauds/supports fairness and justice and compassion.
"the universe is on the side of justice." (Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr)
Without a fundamental belief in the supernatural, morality is just "feel goodism" and self-interest.

Morality is the science of what a person ought to do by reason. A person is considered to be moral if he/she respects the dignity of others cause dignity is inherent, inalienable and inviolable. Ethics is the study of morality's effect on conduct.

Everyone's morals are different. a killer and rapist could see himself as a moral person because he thinks what he's doing is right. general morality guidelines though is to try to live life and be happy, but try not to hurt others where ever you have the choice.. in my opinion.. but morality is different from everyones viewpoint!
thats why some people turn to religion, for that to tell them whats right or wrong!

no one can answer that but you. ethics are of a time. a moral is for ever and stands the test of time. it is a truth. your truth and your time. existentialism is a good one to look up to help. Jean Paul Sartre as a start but the church will have its say too. much to my dismay.
