1) CH3CH2CH2CH2CH3 n-pentane
2 ) CH3 CH CH2CH3 2-methyl-butane

So you have to use an expanded structural formula

They have identical molecular formulas except they are different substances.

Example Pentane and 1-Methyl-Butane
Both have the molecular formula of 5 parts Carbon and 12 parts Hydrogen--except they're different substances.

This is a condensed formual for pentane: CH3CH2CH2CH2CH3

This is an expanded version of pentane:

.....H....H....H....H...H.
H..C....C....C....C...C...H.
.....H....H....H....H...H
