I am contributing to the destruction of the earth because of my car... The air is so polluted that it's not safe to breathe.. should I sell the car or keep it?

But then again, are you willing to give up backseat sex? This decision is tougher than I thought...

It depends on where you live. It is an honorable thing that you are doing. but you need to take a good look at your local public transport system and make sure that it is decent and gets you at least close to where you work and where you live, the two most important places. I think more people should do what you are doing. Be a little less selfish. It is great.

If you feel that strongly about the environment, sell it. Either way, public transport still releases those pollutin' fumes....so keep the car, it wont make a big difference if you sold it!

Public transportation is neither in NE Ohio, so wher I live it would be impossible to get around well without access to a car. But if you live in a city that has outstanding service, then it could be an option.

Keep it and use public transportation anyways. And drive your car to the store and for emergencies.And just incase you have to evacuate for a tropical storm or a tornado.
