Culturally and historically, Lebanon can't compete with France or England. Naturally, it can't compete with South Africa or Australia. But there's too much packed into this country, a bit of everything, and that's what makes it so special, don't you think? Where on earth do you see such crazy and fun people, who continue to live and smile no matter what?

Too true ! But I disagree about your point regarding culture & history !

Lebanon has a rich heritage that comes from a culture steeped in history .To compare it with other countries is not fair ...all countries have differences .It's just that Lebanon is a condensed version of the diverse richness this world has to offer.....from the beauty of the mountains , to the historical sites....the quaint villages to the modern cities...the coastal towns with their unique style ....the cuisine .hmmmm...
