That we have lived in a time when the two best ever politicians Bill Clinton and Tony Blair were in power.

Tony Blair got a standing ovation at the house of commons , when he said his final goodbye to the house, which is unprecedented .

We have a powerful replacement in Gordon Brown, The Americans have had to suffer with George Bush, what a contrast between bush and Clinton division 5 and premiership.

Clinton and Bush had a social conscience and worked for the good of everyone rich and poor, Bush doesn't understand that principle. I hope Hillary gets elected, she will be an amazing leader for America. Intelligence, integrity, quality's Bush certainly does not have.

He is the first member of parliament ever to get a standing ovation from all part members
he was a ver respected MP regardless of what Tory papers would have you believe.

just go back 10 years and remember the mess the Tories left the country in, the changes have been huge, you just cant see them.

Tell this to the family's of all the British service men and women who have been killed in Iraq and Afghanistan. You obviously have not been closely affected by what these men and there policies have done to normal happy family's :)

Where did you get this information from?

TB got a standing ovation because he's leaving, not 'cos he's any good. Kind of "F@@K off and dont come back"

Do you really think the worst thing Clinton did was messing up Monica's blouse?

At least you're on the right track about Bush.

Hilary? AAAAAAAGH!!!!

Go google Ron Paul. There's the only US politician fit to be President. Look at his voting record. See if you can find ANY "special interest" groups he is aligned with. Have a look at his campaign contributions. Above all, read about his opinions. Ignore the bits off CNN, FOX and the like - the US establishment is TERRIFIED of him and are doing their best to discredit him at every opportunity.

The wind of change is blowing . . . .

EDIT: Thanks for your feedback Phil. You and I will obviously never agree on politics, although I bet we could have a cracking afternoon in the pub!!

No I don't.
Tony Blair was just an advertising executive in the wrong job. He believed in nothing but tried to make it look nice. Under Blair, we have a war in Iraq, continuing creeping privatisation of our institutions and nobody can afford a house. I'll await Gordon Brown's leadership but I'm not hopeful, and the less said about that Cameron bloke the better.

Dr David Kelly agrees, and if it wasn't for Blair and Bush we wouldn't have found those weapons of mass destruction.
