dont think it would be allowed, they seem to want to drive us smokers underground, the pub i worked at was owned by smokers all the staff smoked and only 8 customers were non smokers when polled a few years back we requested a non smokers area silly us we should have realised that they would eventually ban it altogether, if we could get businesses growing only for smokers like taxis coaches and other things we would probably be told that we were discriminating against non smokers and we all know that discrimination is not allowed. I will quit one of two ways when I die or when I want to.
New poser for you if smoking is costing the health service what about the rise in obesity? Like to bet that in the future it will be Illegal to be oversized

Now that the smoking ban has gone into effect where I live, there are certain bars and pubs in my city that have begun operating as private clubs, which exempt them from the smoking ban. That could be an option if your law is written to allow this.

I wish it was possible. I work in a pub and all bar staff smoke and 95% of customers. It is going to be such a pain having to watch everyone to make sure they dont smoke.

No, smoking will be banned in all enclosed public places regardless of whether the people working there mind or not.
You could have a private pub though, where you would invite people in, they couldn't just turn up. Similar to your house really.
Crazy hey?

At last! For years I have hated going into smokey pubs, getting my clothes burned by cigarettes which smokers always hold away from themselves! Breathing in disgusting harmful cigarette smoke, and waking up the next morning with my hair stinking of smoke.
Smokers have always said "If you don't like it, stay at home"
Well Smokers, if you want to smoke....Stay at home and kill yourselves instead of other people!

No, because the powers that be have decided that we are not capable of making our own choices any more, or deciding how we wish to lead our lives.
The whole bloody country's like a Kinder garden and we sure ain't in charge.
