what great knock U are telling abou Sachin tendulkar, 99 from 143 balls...seems slowest in his career...that period has gone man... now it is the time of power play and intelligence than the techniques in cricket books...new guys are hitting like anything with strike rates 200 and more still U R in the old era...
Again I am repeating Saurav & Sachin are not suitable to play these type of power cricket especially against Australia & SA.
The foolishness always from our side is that they R disturbing the steady players...Gambhir has been playing well as opener in his preceding matches (100 & 50), he has been removed to keep their favorites. This nasty thoughts have almost spoiled our bowling department. Their next victim is Piyush Chawla.
Dhoni who can play modern cricket better than anybody else in the team should come at no. 3 . Since Sehwag is not there, Uthappa can open the innings with Gambhir. Karthik should be at no. 4 also.
Bowling Zahir Sreesanth Chawla are the necessaries.
Still I believe India wont do any changes and keep on loosing with our OLD Chachas.......

Stop playing international cricket is not a remedy to improve the performance of Indian Team. In fact India should play more international matches by selecting talented and promising youngsters to give them international exposure with a view to build up a strong team for the future.

No special methods. It is all about doing most of things correctly better than the oposition. Now I think South Africa hasn't strong team the like 1990s. When Donald, Polock, Ntini,Cronje,Cullinan, Kallis, Kirsten, Rhodes, Klusner in the team, they were very strong and powerful. But SA has been beaten by the Australia frequently. Why they lost to Australia? That is the important question. Because Australia Does the basics right when they play the game. Beating South Africa is not hard thing. I reckon Australia, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, India, Newzealand, England can beat them in any time in any venue.

If the team does not win one game why are you blaming the BCCI or the selection committee? remember when the team played the game against SA two days back, half the team was not fit to play being down with viral fever. Despite this they put up a good show dragging the SA team to the last over. As for the strategy, it's simple. Bat well-score the runs;,bowl well-remove the key batsmen of SA early; field well-prevent runs as much as possible. You are sure to win against any opposition.

Get rid of the big mountain early.... that's Jackques Kallis.
Agreed with u that Sachin & Dravid played well in the last game but whats the use of that? when the others didn't make use of that platform.
Bottom line is, if win the toss: Bat first,,, score 300+ (they can if they want to) then leave it on the bowlers.

I think that to win against South Africa, you got to bat first and make at least 250 or above. Then have your strong bowlers take off the best batsman form South Africa.

if u wanna win against south africa 1st ur opening partnership could attack south african bowlers in earlier innings so then other guys play sensible like sachin & Dravid. & keep wickets in handso then attck again in last 10 overs than u can go a mamoth total because already u attacked the bowlers then they r not able to keep their rythem going even a best bowler.
in other part indians inexperience bowlers a can't able to resist sensible kallis innigs ...........

they need to hold their wickets then go foe the big shots at the end. n also they should hit atleast 1 boundry an over and making just singles in every single bowl, n that should get them to 300+. it sounds easy but hard to do but they could manage it since they have experianced batsmen.
and about the bowlers, they need irfan for that.
