"the shawshank redemption" ....i cannot recommend this enough.
however if its a chick flick your after i watched "confetti" last night and was pleasently surprised
if your going to the cinema.... the best movie i have seen this year is "knocked up"

The Devil's Advocate with Al Pacino. There's a good mother/daughter bonding scene in that movie. ;-)
