Your lucky, I worked a swing, rotating shift with a quick change over on mids. My wife worked the same but, opposite me. It put a real strain on our marriage, we almost had to see attorneys until I up and quit. We met everyday, at the time clock. It wasn't worth it.
It also created problems with many marriages in the plant, almost every person was having affairs, they were never home, spent more time with friends in factory then with spouse. Many marriages went sour over these hours.

I'm a volunteer worker, work full shift from morning to night for Y!A.

I'm retired. BUT I did work the graveyard shift before I retired.

i use to work in a split shift.it is far worst than the graveyard or even the blackjack deal...i start at 9-3pm and 6-11.30pm...it is very tiring as you have to go back to work again after a 3hour rest period...

i have for years. i work 7 to 3:30 am.
i like it, i have always been nocturnal, but i have kids, so that complicates things.
