I have seen these on ebay and wondered if they work on heavily stained carpets.
I want to buy a cleaner because it works out cheaper than renting them every month or so.
My 3 year old makes a right mess and no one listens to "shoes off please"
Please help, i need something good and affordable.

I have one - is very good, but NOT as good as the old version. How about giving the carpets a good cleaning with a good hired machine then keeping on top of it monthly with the Vax? Works for me - have 16 month old, 18 year old and dogs and hubby and cream carpets!!

Hello Samantha K. I had a similar one salled a "Ezikleen", and it worked just like the Vax. I got a Vax vacuum cleaner, later on and it was even better. I found it good on heavily stained carpet. You needed to get the proper carpet shampoo, but it worked well.Good Luck!

I have used the ones you can rent out at the shop, and also my mums 'vax' - the vax is def better - however, my carpets are cream, and have workmens mud from shoes mushed in to them - so its not come up amazing with the vax - I'd say 75% clean. Also - if you can get someone to do it who is very strong it is better, as my partner did half and that was better as he could push down on the carpet harder. goodluck :-)
