I couldnt find anything else on the internet about this robert guy or the sun flare. Is it a hoax?

That's surely a hoax. They do look like real mri scan images but the fact that it looks like a face is due to the fact that the eyeballs are seen from the top. Basically you are looking at the guy's brain sliced in half "in image." Think about it, how could this guy do anything at all to his own mri scan? I smell hoax.

It's a hoax. MRI scans show cross sections through the body. If you make cross sections through a head then you get a weird and distorted face just like that.

Anyone can put pictures of MRI scans together to make it look like some weird alien talking.

I daught very much a flare would be mixed with any transmission from anything but its own radiation. If you find one, let me know.
