no but I did call in pregnant once and she signed off on it because I had just done alot of double shifts

No. And for the record, I'm not a big fat liar! I just have the guts to tell the truth.
I took personal days or vacation when I didn't feel like going to work. I didn't call in sick when I wasn't sick, which means on the rare occasion that I did call in sick, the boss believed me.
Funny what we can accomplish when we tell the truth, isn't it?

I am a boss and I hate it when people lie to me about why they want off. If you don't feel like coming to work, call me and say I feel like crap (not sick), I will see you tomorrow when I am feeling better. I usually can tell when you are lying. And please don't do the cough thing, that just insults my intelligence. I used to tell my boss, sorry, I am not in the mood to work today, I will see you tomorrow but since I only did it about twice a year he was okay with it and that's why I am, too.

even worse i lied about an illness to one job and got paid time off when i wasnt ill just needed to go to orientation at second job
