That my children find a field of work that is both productive to society in a positive way and yet is also something that they love to do. Plus, the troubles in their life are minimum. That would make me forever happy.

and life can't be the real life if u r happy all time or sad all time, u must face sadness losing bad freinds tears and more and more besides u also will meet happniess winning caring and good friends

Self fulfillment through the journey. The rest of it; money, jobs, houses, toys and yes even Pam Anderson are nice. They will never be enough if your not whole without them. I think they used to call it "Stop and smell the roses".
