Yes, once I reached Level 7 it seemed a bit silly to worry about points any more, so I'm just here to have fun.
You're only about 5000 points away from Level 7, so I think you can definitely get there in this lifetime!

I do enjoy people and answers here. More than the points.
And I guess that it would be nice if people automatically gave thumps if they liked or agreed an answer, just to get into the spirit of generously, dished out stars right centre and left.
Well, looking for quality and I haven't collected many points, yet.
I think that you will reach level 7 in time. Get the plough in the ground and get on with the long slooog.
Thinking about it: someone once famously said that life is a lot of work, a lot of bills and in the end you die. True.
On the other hand one needs some conspiracy between a few people that on a continuous basis you'll chose each others answers as best......
Don't worry. Looking for quality. And you are a top contributor aren't you?

NO! I am still obsessed with the points. But I DO like to answer and want to do it with good answers rather than just answer any old questions - especially here on P&S. I DO have fun too. Sometimes I DO give silly answers depending on the mood and the type of question.
"probably not make level 7 in this lifetime"? LOL
That's rich coming from someone who is so close to level 7.
I am heading that way too.... soooon!

Yes, That I have. Of coures in the first 3 months of 2006 I was determined to make level 7 in 3 months. It ended up taking 4. It has taken a year to make the rest. It sure is a lot more fun this way.

Well, I wish I could say no. But, I think I am getting close. I have, so far anyway, wanted to get to a higher level. But, the main reason is because it drove me nuts at lower levels when I ran out of questions I could answer every day.
Besides, I it is kind of fun to celebrate getting to the next level. I look for any reason to celebrate!

Lieutenant Dan...The only time I cared about points was in the first couple of levels--as I disliked being limited in the number of questions I could ask and answer. You'll make Level 7--if I made it, anybody can :)

Yes I know! I used to like answer a bunch of questions and not ask questions, and it felt like I would never make it to level 3. Then I just started enjoying it and I'm already 500 points into level 3! It's soo cool and weird because I sometimes reach my limit for asking questions and it still seems like I'm making more points...

I never worried about points. I really don't see the purpose of them. I'm not going to win a new car, so what's the big deal?
I never intended to be here, but liked it and stayed. I don't care about the levels, I just like meeting people and answering questions.
