This ONLY happens when I drink water/coffee/tea (which I haven't had Tea in days and Coffee in years). And I'm not drinking a lot of water either, I've only had two glasses today (just woke up 4 hours ago).

People say you'll get it by drinking tons of soda a day, which this isn't the case. I may have a can of soda maybe but once a day. And my pee isn't yellow or anything, it's just clear. When I did drink LOTS of soda (2-4 a day), I never had this problem. Then, I might have went to the bathroom about three times a day.

When I do pee though, it's only for 2 seconds.. and enough pee to fill up half a glass. I'm also a guy, if that helps.

Am I dying =(

I don't think it's an infection, as I've had this problem since I was a kid (used to wet the bed). Unless infections can last for years (i'm 19).

As I said, this NEVER happens when I drink any sodas. It might be the caffeine, but this usually happens when I drink water.

I thought I should get a prostate exam if I couldn't goto the bathroom? For cancer and all that other stuff, also.

caffeine is a duiretic, makes you pee alot. if youre really worried, have it checked out, but this happens to people often if they drink lots of caffeine. if youre not experiencing any pain when you go to the bathroom you shouldnt worry too much.

Boy, it's impossible to know if you have prostate cancer like some people are saying. Some people just have to pee a lot.. you could have a bladder infection or whatever, something very small, k.. like yeah. Don't get too worried, but definitely seek medical attention or a men's health specialist. All the best to you.

Im a nurse so my guess is somewhat educated... sounds like u have a UTI (urinary tract infection), u can get it from improper hygiene or using contaminated toilet etc. Everyone has had a UTI at some time or another in their lives pretty much.

Symptoms of UTI include the sensation of urgency (frequent and urgent need to urinate), burning sensation on urination, and only small amounts of urine when u do urinate.

U will prob need to go to the doctor if ur symptoms do not improve soon and they will prescribe a short course of antibiotics. Also, drink plenty of water to flush out the infection in your urinary tract.

If ur urine becomes cloudy or offensive in odour or you get a temperature, go to the doctor straight away, u need antibiotics

You are only 19. Just keep a record of how much urine you pass every time for about 3 days. also record the time. If you are passing less than 200 ml urine you probably have a small bladder. If you feel full even after pissing then get an ultrasound done to see if urine remains in the bladder after urination. Then you may need to see an urologist.

Sometimes a urinary tract infection may not show up on a culture when the dr does one.

Because of how long you have had these symptoms I would recommend a consultation with a urologist (drs that treat disorders of the bladder as well as reproductive problems in men) to see what they think is going on.

If your insurance is the kind that requires it I would recommend starting with the primary care physician.

Sounds more like a prostate problem or an overactive bladder. Certainly see a urologist or renal specialist to have it checked out. There's medications that could easily treat both. Certainly don't decrease the amount that you're drinking - you don't want to get dehydrated.

If you're a guy, why did you post this in Women's Health?

Go get check for a urinary tract infection. And while you're at it , get your prostate checked for enlargement as well. Urinating every 30 minutes is not normal. Go see a urologist.

Good luck!

Urinary tract infection, bladder infection, or overactive bladder. My boyfriend has the 3rd one and he has kinda similar symptoms. He doesn't drink excessive fluids but still has to pee constantly. His bladder doesn't completely empty when he pees, so he has to go again shortly after.
